NHS dentists in the Meon Valley
Ten years ago, there were 3 NHS dental practices in the Meon Valley; there have been none for some years. For most of this time, the Bureau has campaigned with local NHS Trusts to replace at least part of that service. At last, the Trust has let a contract with Iosis Clinic for a mobile surgery that has operated in Bishops Waltham, Wickham and East Meon since 20 September. The mobile surgery is open from 9.30am to 4.30pm and can be found in the following locations:
Bishops Waltham -
Wickham -
East Meon -
In addition, Iosis Clinic has a surgery in Southgate Street Winchester, opposite St Thomas Church, which is open 8.00am to 8.00pm 7 days a week and is available for emergencies for users of the mobile surgery. Details of the mobile facility and dates at each location can be found on line at www.iosisclinic.co.uk. Registration and appointments can be made on line or by telephone to 01962 670501.
