Advice giving

The Citizens Advice service provides free, confidential advice to everybody regardless of race, gender, disability , sexual orientation, age or nationality.

Trained volunteers deliver advice to help clients deal with issues such as debt, benefits, housing, employment and consumer matters. Advisers can help fill out forms, write letters, negotiate with creditors and represent clients at tribunals. Advisors can also help filling out forms. Click here for details on how to contact us.

Social policy

As well as giving advice, the Citizens Advice service uses its bank of client evidence to find out where local and national services and policies should change. It has built a strong reputation for independent analysis. Click here for the Social Policy page for further information.
